Moving around the country George paints sacred sites located in his ancestral country associated with “Tingari Cycle” Tingari refers to the ancestors of the Pintupi people who were responsible for the creation of the country. These people travelled through large areas of the desert establishing natural features, laws, stories and songs for the benefit of human survival. A number of the sites George refer to in his paintings include Wala Wala, Kiwikurra, Lake Mackay and Kintore.
