Narelle Kitson is another emerging artist as with many indigenous artist, they don’t always paint full-time and this is certainly the case with Narelle she has come to Melbourne to visit family and we have taken her in as our resident painter. In this period we have seen her wonderful works being “Water dreaming and Wild flowers”. Her talents are immediately seen and this not a surprise given her mother is Janet Long Nakamarra and she was well taught by her. We particularly like her ‘Wild flower’ paintings which depicts ‘The Sand Hills’ where she grew up, viewing this lovely burst of colour in season. Come to this exhibition and view Narelle painting these expression’s of her bringing and let her explain to you the meaning of these dreaming to you.
