Margaret comes from a family of painters She is a Walpari woman and a full blooded sister to the highly recognized and respected artist the late Dorothy Napangardi & skin sister to the equally recognized artist the late Judy Watson Napangardi . Margaret currently lives at Yuendumu however she does travel and paint in Alice Springs on a regular basis along with occasional trip interstate.
Her paintings reflect typical Warlpiri style with the use of strong vibrant colours and microscopic dotting. The main themes of her painting reflect stories relating to her country (Mina Mina) and stories which depict Women‘s Stories and their sacred sites around her homeland of Mina Mina
Margaret has featured in exhibitions both in Australia & abroad.
